Thank You

I have been very blessed to have wonderful people in my life
and sometimes the words Thank You mean a lot.

Words can not express your warmth and grace
Your love and embrace gave me hope of a new day
When I stumbled you were there to catch my fall
Thank you for not judging my inequalities
But recognizing my greater qualities
Thank you planting the seeds giving me the roots to grow
Thank you for healing my grieving heart
When I lost the ones who departed out of my life
Thank you for helping me keep my faith
While I await for a miracle
Thank you for helping press towards
My quest and helping me realize that I am truly blessed.

A Tribute to my Mother

My mother means the world to me she is my best friend. Though she gets on my nerves at times! She is one of the most remarkable woman in my life, so I dedicated this poem to her.

Words Webster's can't define
You have brought me through thunderstorms
When I wanted to end everything
You sparked a new beginning
When my heart shattered
You gave me the connecting pieces
When I lost my sense of direction
You gave me a life map
When I lost my battles in defeat
You gave me courage to keep going
Comfort for the tears
Encouragement through fears
Laughter through pain
Unconditional love
A pathway of guidance
And a platform to be myself
Parenting is a full time position
And I return your payment in full.
